Vocals have a lot of ambient noise in the recording that needs cleaning up - or a better mic+recording environment. To make the chorus interesting, look into other recourding techniques like double tracking etc. to get more out of it.
All of the synthesis just needs work..it's very simple and comes across quite amateurish in terms of the sound.
It's all a bit dry, as well, which makes everything a bit disjointed and unconnected in terms of the mix.
