pluck need to be louder and more sistorted, it feels like it fills more space in the actual song
same with the 808

use the ring mod with a sub as the second carrier and you'll get that 2hollis distortion. Just make sure to have a wet/dry control with a splitter or aux send :) it sounds really good on the 8-bit style arps
