We got rules as always, so try your best to follow them or you WILL be considered for consumption;
1 . All tracks must have remix enabled.
2. Your track must be published after the start date (Nov 10th -
0:00
:00 PST), and before the end date (Jan 4th -
23:59
:59 PST).
3. Remixes of other tracks are not eligible. This includes remixes of non-Audiotool tracks.
4. Content from all DAWs is allowed, but don't expect your track to score nearly as well if no Audiotool elements are incorporated into the creative process whatsoever. This is //Audiotool// Day, after all.
5. NO samples with copyright. If you don't know or can't figure out if a sample is copyrighted or not, err on the side of caution and do not use it.
6. Only one submission per artist. If you choose to do a collab, that will count as your one submission.
Mark the one solo track or collaboration you wish to submit for judging by tagging them with the "ATD25" tag.
PRIZES:
Similar to last year, the top 5 will receive a vinyl EP featuring the winning tracks.
Additionally,
@Client
has offered a $100 cash prize to the first place winner. Collaborators will be splitting this prize.
What if, theoretically, I'm going for phonk and AT has no synth accurate enough to make an atmospheric cowbell, so I use another DAW just for a cowbell? Will I lose points?
moderate use of a single synth shouldn’t lose you any points, and where you gain points is based on the judge listening to it, there's no definitive answer here
So, just to clarify-- I can go to FL Studio, use a few plugins for my song, and then bring those back into AT? Obviously I'm not going to make my entire song in FL but I'm allowed to use elements like plugins?
