      And the 808 just took some effects and me experimenting with the waveform next to the Ernest Ruthford waveform. I'll put out a preset if you want. :)

    also, starting @ 1:17 in your track i noticed your bass had some slide to it. Did you use the rasselbock for this or did you use pitch modulation on the heisenberg?

      I used pitched pitch modulation on the last part of bass to clean it up, but in that spot, that was done with some glide. I have the bass set to Legato so it won't overlap. The higher note will play and if I have a lower note with a higher note it'll slide like that.

      I use headphones. I also have some speakers but I don't use them for production.

    Can you take a listen to my track Friday Trap and tell my why my downbeats aren't hitting as hard as yours are in this track? Do I need different kick samples? Increase gains? Tweak subbass? Plz Halp I can't seem to achieve that perfect punch of the bass kick

      u possible just need some distortion if it farts out, shorten it.
