There has to be or else your rock track falls flat when a dubstep track plays next to it, or when a trap track plays in comparison through phone speakers.
Also my guitar rig isn't the best, so it helps me sound more modern to stack synths around my tone!
I legit just track in another DAW so that I don't have giant recordings in audiotool. but if you're not worried about double tracking and the part is simple, then just hit that record button on the audio sample in the timeline!
