You could still add a little sidechain although it sounds fine as is. (If you do, turn down the kick so it won't be extra loud for no reason)
You can add a curve connected to the main stereo output and whatever device you had connected there (Centroid, Minimixer, etc.) and automate either the low-pass or the high-pass (or both) during the build-up to have more impact. (Or to just make the track have a little bit of variety)

This song is one of my best quality mixes in a long long time. I even asked Cal about it and he gave me the proper advice to make this much much better.
Love all of the melodies and chords in this. The bass lacks a bit of low end though. Dont really have anything else to say about this one.
