I like the familiarity, the sample library, the versatility of the devices and signal routing mechanics, the community, and at this point the nostalgia of using Audiotool. I'd suggest this to you, the reader: start taking Audiotool seriously if you are not. You can achieve almost any sound and style with Audiotool with enough practice/experimentation and that is WILD for a free, web-based DAW.

I love the community. I've made a tight-knit group of fellow producers and formed relationships that go beyond music. A pitch shifter would be a lifesaver — a simple way to shift the key of your track.

The community on audiotool has always been my favorite part of the site. While I am less active today, I was supported by so many audiotoolers when I first started, without whom I may have never continued making music. Through this community, I have learned a lot about the art and also learned about styles of music that I otherwise would have never encountered.

What I like most about Audiotool is the community aspect. If Audiotool was only the app portion of the website, I feel like the majority of people using it wouldn't have been as interested in it if they couldn't have the feedback and experience of seeing what others are able to create. It's a very magical thing to be able to connect with everyone like this.

The workflow and community. Almost everyone is willing to have a great conversation with you, and Audiotool makes it super fun, easy, and exciting to get into producing. The one thing I would suggest to the Audiotool team is to remember that there's a reason people still use an old, outdated, and limiting DAW. I hope the team keeps that in mind while they work on rewriting the website from the ground up.

The fact that out of almost every single DAW you can work with artists IN LIVE TIME and the fact that this DAW is COMPLETELY FREE and accessible anywhere. If I did suggest anything it would be to make a mobile feature and/or app for the studio. It would most likely bring more users, more interactions from different locations.

I absolutely adore the interface of the Audiotool studio. Being able to work with devices as if they were tangible and work with tracks on a digital grid is a really neat design that's executed efficiently. Please don't change it!

What I like most about Audiotool is how accessible and powerful it is. The ability to jump right into a fully featured studio from my browser is pretty amazing. If I had to suggest something, it'd probably be a way to shift the key of a song entirely without having to change the tempo, and a pitch shifter pedal similar to a Digitech Whammy would be super sick.

What I like most about Audiotool is the way it brings together music creation and community. Being able to collaborate, share projects, and learn directly from other users in real time is something really special. I'd love to see more advanced sample manipulation tools, like pitch-shifting, directly in the main workspace.

What I like most about Audiotool is the user-friendly interface and the ability to create music directly in the browser without the need for expensive software. I also appreciate the cloud-based feature — it makes it easy to work on projects from anywhere, and collaborating with others is super seamless.

The fact that this is basically an underground Soundcloud is literally the coolest thing. The only thing I can think of that I'd like to see is a stand-alone pitch shifter that you could add to samples and stuff.

I admire its history. I've been here for a while now, and though I've never been super interactive in the community (thanks social anxiety), I have been a keen observer of the changes in community dynamics, music promotion, charts, and even tracks themselves over time. To be able to visually see the change, and for a lot of the site's history to still be documented and available to anyone willing to look — that's something really special.

One of the main things that I love about audiotool has to be the community, because I have made some really great friends and I have met some of the most talented people on audiotool. Audiotool is like a home to me.

I love the openness of it. Everyone can communicate freely to help each other learn and lift themselves up. 99.99% of the time, Audiotool is great at communication and sharing, which gives us an edge over other DAWs.

I still personally use third party apps for voice and video communication. It would be really nice to see Audiotool upgrade that DAW feature to be more on par with services like Discord. It would also be nice to see Audiotool offering contest prizes that would attract more serious artists. Cash prizes would be nice.

I love its essence and the sense of community within it. I love how friendly it is towards new producers and the fact that it's FREE! I'm a total UI design freak, I would love to see new refreshed designs across all devices and even the interface of the studio and the website! Also, please consider creating the possibility of midi tracks using samples! I'd love to make my own voice into a whole melodic thing, and an LFO device!!

I like that the community is very small and tight knit, it's like a small town. Connecting with people is as easy as posting a message on someone's wall. As far as suggestions, bring back showing how many uses/likes a preset has. Also, you should be able to filter samples in the App easier. I really appreciate all of the work by the Audiotool Team that's gone into making this site what it is <3

The best thing about audiotool is the community. The reason why the community is great is because you can easily get an audience on audiotool. You can get people to help you with your music, collaborate and listen to other people's demo tracks and such, create remixes with ease. Audiotool is a community of artists. That's what makes audiotool a special community — a large community of artists is hard to come by.

I love how community based Audiotool is. Having people who do what you do interact with your art and engage with you is such an amazing thing and that's what makes audiotool audiotool. I see improvements all the time so I'm content!

I like everything about Audiotool! It is so obvious that the team behind the website just want to help people to be able to create music; and it is shown through how accessible absolutely everything is all for the price of nothing!! It also helps that there is such a good community of people on the website who are always happy to help each other and lift each other up.

What I like most on Audiotool is obviously the community. The amount of artists on here that are easily distinguishable in their style while having the same set of devices as everybody else is astounding. I know the Audiotool team is working hard on improving the site, and it's honestly a miracle to me that Audiotool can sustain itself.

One thing that I find very unique about Audiotool is the ability to open up other people's tracks and see how they're made. I've learnt so much from doing this. If I was to suggest something, it would probably be a device for resonance suppression, either in the style of Soothe 2, or as a dynamic eq. This is something I use extensively outside of Audiotool.

I love the browser based aspect and the community of course. That's what makes AT special. I'm very grateful for the friends I've made here and hope to continue to use this site as long as possible.

The thing I like about Audiotool the most, is the fact that it's free and allows live-time collaboration with other producers. Not many DAWs achieve this, the fact that you can pack this much power on something that is on the web alone still continues to wow me.

I think Audiotool is absolutely fantastic for a free DAW. What I love most is the endless possibilities of interconnecting devices. There really are no limits. If I could wish for anything, it would be a new synth or a sampler with a filter and the ability to edit the pitch and length of the sample using the keyboard in the pattern track.

I love this way of making music by using the internet. The interface is so friendly to me. I love the way of patching cables and it reminds me of VCV Rack.

Audiotool has undoubtedly changed my life. With it I discovered my love of music, a passion that will certainly define me for as long as I live. The integrated community of AT makes it a very unique DAW, as no others have what's essentially a social media platform within it as well. I could care less if there was never an update again. I'm just happy Audiotool is around. Thank you Audiotool Team.

I love the dev team and everyone involved with the building, maintaining, and growth of this site. You make this all possible, and bring so much light into people's lives with this small music app. The Audiotool team may get hate sometimes but I hope you guys realize we all love you!

I like how audiotool is not only the best free DAW in your browser but it's also a great all around platform. You have charts, monthly and yearly competitions, and you can engage and speak with other artists too. I personally find the live collaboration feature revolutionary because I don't know of any other DAW that can do that. For audiotool, I would suggest maybe a new pedal effect or master tool. Maybe hosting classes on how to use audiotool would be neat for those wanting to master the DAW.

I'm so grateful and really admire the work you are doing, guys. That's why I want everybody to support Audiotool on Patreon. The collab thing is also a great idea: you can chat with your colleague making music and discuss live what to do to your track! It's such a shame that AT isn't the number one DAW — it really has to be more popular to increase the community.

The essence of Audiotool is as much of a community as it is a tool for others. It's the constant encouragement of ourselves from others in the community that makes us strive to get better. Though it has more than its fair share of quarrels, the community of Audiotool is fundamentally unified through our love of music and our love of art, which is what I believe to be the greatest thing about the website.

The amount of people critiquing songs and being brutally honest. Instead of people calling your particular song garbage, when it can be very special to you in all ways. You can do so much on Audiotool, and I believe you can take it to the next level if you put your best efforts into making something you enjoy and love.

The thing which is really unique about Audiotool is that it allows you to compose live with other people, on the same project. It's a great value and we should develop that to improve our community. Also the modular structure on the desktop is very pedagogic and visual: you can fully understand where the sound signal goes.

My favorite part of Audiotool is the sheer amount of variety of things you can do in the studio. You can literally make any sound you want, for free. I would have actually sucked at music production for a lot longer if it wasn't for this website.

I probably would have jumped to something like Ableton completely if it weren't for the community aspect. I always enjoy speaking with people about Audiotool and having tracks open for remix is genius. If I were to add anything, I'd love it if there were some kind of pitch knob on the Audiotrack. Pitching a loop to the scale I'm working in would be a lifesaver.

Audiotool is doing important work towards lowering the practical barriers of creation. Since anybody with an internet connection can have access to the same tools as a professional producer, the magic of raw sonic discovery is no longer exclusive to those who can afford it. My only real suggestion is that I wish feedback loops rendered properly.

The longevity of this platform's reach is astounding. I've used this DAW for over a decade and I've yet to encounter any other music making service that is as user-friendly and intuitive as Audiotool. It also opens the doors for those who never thought music production was a possibility. It's been a long time wish of mine that an official Vocoder be added to the application.

What I like the most about it is that it's free, and that it has in-real-time collaborations. What I would like to see is better sample manipulation. And maybe a new synth haha.

I like Audiotool because even as things change; it remains rooted to what I have always known it to be. A good medium accessible for everyone, simplistic to learn for beginners with zero music knowledge while also holding high quality resources for professionals to take their talents to the next level. The choice is entirely up to the creator which is why I love it.

I find it quite difficult to navigate my drafts and struggle to identify them. I'd love if there was an alternate view for draft selection that took up a larger area on the screen and displayed more drafts in a grid with bigger previews. Also, some sort of folder system would be AMAZING.

I love how it's a community integrated into a DAW, and how people can socialize and interact with an interface on a personal level. I've met some truly amazing artists and some long time friends due to this and I will forever thank audiotool for that. I would say continue to make the DAW free. One of the biggest selling points to me learning production was that I didn't have to shell out over $200 on a DAW. It's completely free and accessible to anyone who has internet.

I like being able to express myself artistically for "the best price". But I also like seeing other people not only do the same but go onto do that professionally. I've actually bought some users' work. And they made that here. That's awesome.

How easy it is to just login, boot up from any computer, and get going. That portability and free access is really amazing. Recording still presents difficulties though, with occasional stutters and a slightly clunky sample system. If that were streamlined I would have basically no reason to use any other platform.

I like the community the most on Audiotool: I like how friendly and welcoming people have become. I would say that there are a lot of underrated artists on here that I think deserve to be showcased also but never do, so if there was any way to make that happen that would make me mucho happy.

Audiotool is so amazing that I'm just so grateful for the fact that it exists. Everything about it from the devices and layout, to the community and traditions are such a blessing. I think my favorite part about it has to be the fact that it is browser-based and I can make music anywhere. One thing that I think would be cool to see is a way to pitch shift samples in the timeline without changing the speed.

The most I like about this website is that it's free and can be used on literally anything. But I would suggest an actual downloadable DAW so it doesn't lag as much. I think AT has great potential.

I like Audiotool because it's free. Not that I'm poor and can't afford Ableton, I am and I can't but that's not the point. I like that it's free because it makes music production available to so many more people. Audiotool has raised up some amazing artists that if Audiotool wasn't as accessible as it is, might not have been able to make beautiful compositions and killer jams. Nothing to suggest, I love it here.

It has to be that it's FRIGGIN FREE! Back when I had no money I was searching and searching for free softwares. I don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for Audiotool. I'm very grateful for this site.

I really love how easy it is to collaborate with someone. Two of you can be online at the same time, or you can go back and forth editing the same draft at different times. Keep doing what you're doing Audiotool. You've created an excellent free platform for artists to learn and express themselves, that's more than anyone really could've asked for.

Two things: the community, filled with talented artists, as friendly as humble. I've been amazed hundreds of times by what can be created here, and felt so proud when artists I love were faving and commenting my tracks. Also the AT team who did an amazing job with creating this entirely free, intuitive, interactive and now professional DAW. I love the fact that I can feel it's been made out of passion, and that it's still run with passion.

The daw itself is amazing especially for being free. It really helps you learn the basics of what actually goes into making a song. Mostly the Mixing/Mastering aspects. Its also just great for people who can't afford more professional daws and want to start making music. My only suggestion is to keep adding things to it. It's very versatile already but could be even more versatile if you keeping adding more synths, effects, etc. to really help people get even more creative.

One of my favorite things about audiotool is that it's so accessible. One of the reasons I haven't made the switch to any other standalone software suites is the fact that it's always right there at the push of a button. There's no annoying licensing restrictions, it's completely platform independent, all your assets and project files are kept track of in the cloud, all offered at no cost. I also appreciate having the somewhat limited toolset audiotool offers. I think audiotool provides you with most of all the fundamental building blocks needed for digital music production, forcing you to put two and two together without too much handholding. Like cooking your own dinner instead of ordering takeaway again.

There's two things I like near-equally about Audiotool. First is the community and how it's the leading drive to create new and exciting music. The other would be how tactile Audiotool feels when you're making music. That feeling of being able to control everything on one screen and wire everything together is the closest thing to being in a real life studio I can imagine on a DAW. I think a suggestion that would help a lot of people more handily would be pop-up text descriptions of each tool and its features within the app itself from something as easy as a right click on the tool itself.

What I like the most about Audiotool is that it is free, accessible, and capable. This website is proof that if you're willing to try your best with what you have, you definitely can stand amongst the professionals. Audiotool is such an underrated DAW, and I hope that it never shuts down. If it suddenly gets popular, I hope that the magic of the site does not disappear either. My greatest suggestion to the site is to try and find more help if it's possible. A lot of the workload is forced on only a few developers with an ever demanding community of artists. I hate to see part of the community bashing the developers when they're trying their best to at least keep the website working while sometimes adding a feature every blue moon. I Wish that I could contribute in some way, but there's nothing that I can really do that would be effective.

I think the multitude of ways you can collaborate and work off of each other is amazing. If anyone starting out needs a helping hand there are thousands of hands out there waiting for you. One of the only things I'd suggest is a standalone device to pitch-shift audio.

The community side of the website is really what makes Audiotool so unique. On AT, everyone uses the same tools and DAW, so it's really easy to get feedback or tips on the devices. It's cool to see how everyone is able to use them to make completely different things.

I really love its "complex simplicity". In my opinion, the learning curve for Audiotool is much more shallow than most other DAWs, which will help you get the basics down immediately. But once you start experimenting you find out that although the devices are simple, you can do a lot more with the DAW than you originally expected when you test your creative limits and push its boundaries!

The best thing about AT for me, is that users are not only given the tools to create music, but also an online space to share it with like-minded people who can learn from and inspire each other. If it's possible to bring in additional methods of synthesis, such as implementing a granular or wavetable synthesiser, that'd be stellar.

I love that, even with the crappiest setup, I have the tools available to make a fully professional track any time I have wifi. That's crazy! I could lose all of my studio and not lose a single bit of my ability to make the music I'm making now so long as I have a laptop. The only thing I'd change about audiotool... I'd make it bigger. More artists would know about it and how powerful the tools are.
