Feedback
Feedback sends a copy of an effect's output back into its input. On a delay it sets how the repeats fade. On the Reverb device the control is F.Back.
Feedback sends a copy of an effect’s output back into its input. Each pass is another copy.
On a delay, 0% is a single repeat. Higher values keep the repeats coming. If they get louder instead of quieter, each pass is adding level, and the output can climb. Turn the knob down and watch the meter. Tempo sync sets how long each repeat is, in note values. Feedback sets how many of them you hear, and how they fade. Ping-pong swaps the stereo side on each pass, so the repeats bounce left and right. Dry/wet sets whether the original stays in front of them.
On the Reverb device, F.Back recirculates the tail. Decay is the length of the space itself. Feedback pushes that tail further and can color it. See reverb.
Filter resonance is feedback inside a filter. The band at the cutoff is fed back on itself until it peaks and rings. It does not make a row of echoes.
