Mixing
The Mixer balances your tracks. Each track gets a channel with gain, filters, compression, EQ, and sends. Groups, FX sends, the master channel, and the Stagebox handle routing.
Mixing sets how loud each track is, where it sits in the stereo field, and which effects it shares with the others. Start with the Mixer, then go into its parts.
- Mixer: the overview of the mixing desk and its sections.
- Channels: the strip every track gets, from gain to volume and pan.
- Groups: combine channels for shared processing and one fader.
- FX Sends: share a reverb, a delay, or your own effects between tracks.
- Master: the last stage before the output.
- Stagebox: route devices into the mixer.
- Stagebox Channel: one input strip on the Stagebox.
